Yoga for people who have been pregnant

Our teachers will offer you modifications if you are postpartum

Postpartum recovery can take much longer than 6 months, sometimes a few years, due to prolonged sitting and reduced movement. Conditions that might occur post-birth are postpartum mood disorder, pelvic organ prolapse, hip or back pain, diastasis recti, incontinence, pain, discomfort, anxiety and depression.

Our Forrest-inspired classes can incorporate yoga, meditation and specialized core exercises for supporting people who are pregnant and have given birth.

Please let your teacher know if this is you and you will be offered specific postpartum yoga practices from the Poppy Perinatal method that promote healing and support after childbirth, including vaginal birth, surgical birth, VBAC, and pregnancy loss.

Book per class and pay as you go with a class pass or membership.

Whether you would like a few 1-2-1 sessions that will prepare you to participate in group classes or you would like to work privately on a weekly basis at a time that suits you, Janet will meet you where you are at.
