Go Deeper with Ceremony

I'm on my way up to Newcastle for my second weekend of assisting Ana Forrest. It's been both an intense and deeply nourishing experience so far. It's wonderful to be around Ana and to soak up more of her messages, by way of direct feedback in my own practice and also watching how she connects to her students. I've also felt very supported by the other Forrest Yoga teachers on the assisting team.

A large focus of the London workshops was the ceremony that Ana and her husband Jose brought into the yoga room, they weave in songs and rituals from First Peoples, of Native American and Aboriginal cultures.

This approach within Forrest Yoga was what really captured me on my initial training, we spent a lot of time in ceremonial circles, and I witnessed and experienced profound healing happening.

I'm sharing this with you guys, because you know that yoga is about so much more than our physical well-being. This is a deeply transformative practice, when we return to the mat again and again we change old habitual thought patterns and become empowered to make the changes we want in our lives. This has been my experience of Forrest Yoga and I am so honoured that I get to share it with you.

I'm excited to explore the deeper healing potential of Forrest Yoga with you in a series of upcoming workshops, Go Deeper. The intent of these workshops is to develop our connection to ourselves and to each other, to strengthen our community, share our vulnerabilities and celebrate our strengths.

These workshops are only open to those who already have a Forrest Yoga practice and will be limited to 10 students, so we really can "Go Deeper", with 2 1/2 hours of asana practice and talking ceremony.

Go Deeper workshops will be £25 each or discounted to £65 for 3.

Saturdays 10-12.30pm

6 Aug, 3 Sep, 1 Oct, 5 Nov, 3 Dec

I hope this sounds as exciting to you as it does to me!

Ping me an email to book a spot, I can't wait to get back from this journey and share what I've learnt with you.
