A 3 month yoga course that will teach you to move, breathe and rest with more ease
In weekly classes you will progressively build strength and support that contribute to easeful upright posture and movement.
You will discover how your spine supports you so that you can feel strong and stable in yoga postures.
You will examine the connection between your core and the rest of your body, experience how your breath moves your body and how alignment comes from within.
You will learn to unwind and create space in your body and find length in your spine.
As you progress through the 3 months and the movements become more challenging you will learn how to practise with self care and kindness - true advanced practice.
For beginners and experienced yoga practitioners of all levels who will benefit from exploring fundamental movement principles with an experienced teacher.
For all students ready to show up for themselves, and to meet and greet whatever mental, emotional, physical and energetic reality presents itself.
3 months with 3 live classes and 1 pre-recorded class per month.
We journey together over 3 months so that you have time to feel the real-life benefits of a regular yoga practice.
The group is a maximum of 12 students so that we can all build familiarity and accountability to one another. Janet can get to know you all and adapt the classes to suit your needs as a group.
We meet live 3 times per month in a guided class that introduces new progressive material so that you can stay connected to the practice and your group of peers. Live classes are 90 minutes so that you have time to truly downregulate, which is needed to take in new information and relax at the end of session.
Each month you are issued a shorter pre-recorded class to practise in your own time so that you can begin integrating yoga more regularly into your week at a time that suits you. The week off from live classes also allows you to spend time doing whatever else brings you joy.
Live classes are on Zoom for your convenience. It is recommended when possible that you attend the live classes so that you can learn in real time with your peers and not add the playback as another item on your long to do list.
The live sessions will be recorded, made available within 24 hours for 7 days only. This is to encourage you to take the class before the following week’s session.The shorter pre-recorded classes are issued once per month and available until 1 month after the course has finished (end of April 2024).
