Postpartum recovery can take much longer than 6 months, sometimes a few years, due to prolonged sitting, reduced movement. Conditions that might occur post-birth are postpartum mood disorder, pelvic organ prolapse, hip or back pain, diastasis recti, incontinence, pain, discomfort, anxiety and depression.

This Forrest-inspired class incorporates yoga, meditation and specialized core exercises designed for supporting people who have given birth.

There will be specific postpartum yoga practices that promote healing and support after childbirth, including vaginal birth, surgical birth, VBAC, and pregnancy loss.

With a focus on creating a safe space for connection and community, this class includes yoga, meditation and hands-on assists to support postpartum recovery
