Ceremony, Meditation & Mindfulness: A 7-Day Continuing Education Training for Yoga Teachers of Any Asana Style or Lineage, With Forrest Yoga Guardian Jambo Truong

In this 7-day training, we will create a sacred container for you to delve into your own experience of Self and Spirit and learn tools to weave threads of your authentic spirituality into your teaching. Each day, we will use a different meditation technique to ground into deep introspection, helping you to increase your awareness of self and of the interconnection of all life. Early morning ceremonies and asana practices will give you the opportunity to apply these meditation techniques to your yoga practice. Afternoon sessions will focus on how to bring these deep experiences of meditation and ceremony to your students.

Identify beneficial meditation techniques for different situations.

Practice teaching a variety of meditation techniques

Study & discuss ethics for yoga teachers, including how to use one's position of authority responsibly

Learn how to respect and honor your students’ boundaries, and use your intuition and wisdom to lead them through techniques that might be most beneficial for them in the moment

Day 1 to day 7: Mornings

meet your teacher

JAMBO TRUONG frequently travels teaching workshops based on Forrest Yoga, Functional Anatomy and Native practices of the Medicine People. He is an experienced bodyworker and bodywork teacher based on his multi-disciplinary practice of structural alignment, muscles testing and classical East Asian medicine.

Forrest Yoga Guardian and travelling assistant to Ana Forrest, he is committed to delivering the healing practice of Forrest Yoga in its most authentic form. He has an immense amount of passion explaining why what we do works and supplements asana workshops with sessions on functional anatomy, neuro-science, applied kinesiology and structural bodywork.

An apprentice to Senior Shaman, Esther Lim for 13 years and has engaged in Taoist ceremonial practices from a young age. 

Jambo's mission is to help others believe in their own personal gifts and he encourages the creation of a safe environment to explore and develop the ability to share those gifts.

He believes in doing as many impossible things as possible and is a practitioner of dissolving useless and toxic concepts.

PAYMENT POLICY

To hold your place pay a non-refundable deposit of £200. This non-refundable deposit will be applied to your tuition fees. The remainder of the fee is due 1 month prior to training or by the early bird deadline to secure the discounted price.

REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY (Strict)

* 30 days or more prior to training 100% of monies less Paypal fees and less the £200 non-refundable deposit

* 29 days or less, no refund, no exceptions
